About Our Practice
Founded in 1959, our family-owned practice has been serving the Kearney, Nebraska area by providing exceptional and affordable dental care.

Dr. Richard Bush opened our practice in 1959 and practiced until 1999. His son Dr. Stephen Bush has been practicing since 1985. Currently Dr. Katherine Goodwin, a third generation family member, carries on the legacy of her father and grandfather by delivering the outstanding dental care and services the clinic’s patients have come to expect.

DR. STEPHEN BUSH
Dr. Stephen Bush has been practicing general dentistry at Kearney Dental Clinic for over 30 years. He is a 1981 graduate of Kearney State College with a Bachelor's of Science and a 1985 graduate of UNMC Dental College. In 1985, Dr. Steve began practicing with his father, Dr. Richard Bush, as a second-generation general dentist at Kearney Dental Clinic. Now, Dr. Steve works with his daughter, Dr. Kate Goodwin.
Dr. Steve is a member of the American Dental Association and the Nebraska Dental Association. He also volunteers to accept dental, dental hygiene and dental assisting students into his office for extramural learning opportunities. In his free time, Dr. Steve enjoys spending time with his family, exercise and running, and being outdoors.

DR. KATHERINE GOODWIN
Dr. Katherine (Bush) Goodwin is a 2013 graduate of UNMC College of Dentistry. Dr. Kate graduated from UNMC with high distinction. She is a Kearney High School and University of Nebraska-Kearney alumna.
Dr. Kate enjoys following in her father and grandfather's footsteps at Kearney Dental Clinic. There are some patients in our practice that have been treated by all three generations!
Dr. Kate resides in Kearney with her husband, Wade, and two sons and one daughter. Dr. Kate enjoys being part of the Kearney community, volunteering with the Yanney Park Foundation, First Baptist Church and Alpha Phi sorority, and being active in athletics and the outdoors with her family.
